Q: What can the Notion node do in n8n?

The node lets you interact with Notion databases and pages programmatically. You can create new database entries, query database items with filters and sorts, update existing entries, retrieve page content, append blocks (text, headings, lists, to-dos) to pages, and search across your entire workspace. This covers most operations available through the Notion API.

Q: How do I connect n8n to my Notion workspace?

You create an internal integration in Notion (under Settings > Integrations), which gives you an API token. You add this token as a credential in n8n. Then you share the specific Notion pages or databases you want to access with the integration. Notion uses a permission model where integrations only see content explicitly shared with them.
