Overview

In the third phase of an ongoing automation partnership, Osher Digital delivered an AI-powered agent that extracts, normalises, and reformats doctor and nurse resumes (CVs) from Word and PDF files into a standardised, client-ready branded template. The solution removed all manual handling, eliminated offshore delays, and produced fully de-identified documents that comply with privacy requirements while highlighting clinical skills, employment history, and qualifications.

About the client

The client is one of Australia’s largest specialist medical recruitment agencies, placing doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals into permanent and locum roles across public and private sectors. High candidate volumes and strict presentation standards for client submissions created ongoing bottlenecks in their resume preparation process.

Problem

Recruiters received candidate CVs in widely varying formats. Each resume required manual reformatting and de-identification before submission to hospitals and clinics.

The existing manual process was:

  • Australian recruiter emailed the original CV to an administrative team in the Philippines.
  • The Philippines team forwarded it to an external formatting subcontractor.
  • The subcontractor returned the reformatted file to the Philippines team.
  • The Philippines team performed a final check and emailed the document back to the Australian recruiter.

Total turnaround ranged from several hours to more than a day, delaying candidate submissions and frustrating both recruiters and clients.

Osher Digital built a secure, self-hosted AI agent triggered by a single file upload. The complete workflow runs without human intervention and finishes in under 1 minute.
