Soil Analysis Bot
Soil test results tell you what nutrients are there, but turning that into practical fertiliser decisions for each paddock takes expertise and time. This agent interprets soil data alongside crop requirements and history to generate specific, actionable amendment plans.
About Soil Analysis Bot
The Problem
Soil testing is only useful if you can translate the results into good decisions. Most producers get their soil tests back as pages of numbers and either rely on a fertiliser rep’s interpretation (which may be influenced by what they are selling) or apply a one-size-fits-all approach across the farm. Under-application wastes yield potential. Over-application wastes money and can cause environmental problems like nutrient runoff. Getting the balance right for each paddock, each season, requires combining soil chemistry knowledge with crop-specific requirements and local conditions.
How It Works
The Soil Analysis Bot takes in your soil test results, historical test data for each paddock, and the crop you are planning to grow. It analyses nutrient levels, pH, organic matter, and soil structure indicators against the specific requirements of your planned crop and target yield. The agent then generates paddock-specific fertiliser and amendment recommendations, including product types, application rates, and timing. It tracks soil health trends over multiple seasons, so you can see whether your management practices are building or depleting soil condition over time.
Precise Nutrition, Less Waste
Paddock-specific recommendations mean you apply what each area actually needs rather than spreading the same rate across the whole farm. Over time, the historical tracking helps you measure whether your soil management strategy is working and adjust accordingly. Our automated data processing team can set this up to pull directly from your soil testing laboratory and integrate with your variable rate application systems.
