About LoneScale

LoneScale is a sales intelligence platform that monitors job changes and hiring signals across your target accounts. It tracks when prospects switch companies, when target accounts start hiring for specific roles, and when buying signals emerge, then pushes those signals into your CRM or outbound tools so your sales team can act on them quickly.

The problem LoneScale addresses is straightforward: sales teams waste time reaching out to cold prospects when there are warm signals sitting in public data that nobody is monitoring. A former champion moves to a new company and the sales team does not find out for months. A target account starts hiring data engineers, signalling a new project, and nobody notices until a competitor is already in the door.

The LoneScale node in n8n lets you pull these signals into automated workflows. You might route job-change alerts into Slack for your BDRs, enrich new signals with company data from Clearbit, or automatically create tasks in your CRM when a former customer surfaces at a new account. If your sales team needs better signal-to-noise on outbound prospecting, this integration is worth exploring. How it works

We work hand-in-hand with you to implement LoneScale

Step 1

Define Your Signal Criteria in LoneScale

Log in to LoneScale and set up your monitoring parameters. Define which contacts and accounts to track, what job-change events matter (e.g. a champion leaving a customer account, or a VP of Engineering joining a target account), and which hiring signals to watch for. These filters determine what data flows into n8n.

Step 2

Set Up a Webhook Endpoint in LoneScale

In LoneScale’s integration settings, configure a webhook destination. Copy the webhook URL that you will create in n8n (next step) and paste it into LoneScale. Select which event types should trigger the webhook: job changes, hiring signals, or both.

Step 3

Create a Webhook Trigger in n8n

In n8n, create a new workflow with a Webhook node as the trigger. Set it to accept POST requests. Copy the generated webhook URL back into LoneScale’s webhook settings. Test by triggering a sample event in LoneScale and confirming n8n receives the payload.

Step 4

Enrich and Filter the Signal Data

After the webhook trigger, add nodes to enrich the incoming data. You might use a Clearbit or Apollo node to add company details, an IF node to filter by deal size or region, and a Set node to format the data for your CRM. This is where you turn raw signals into actionable leads.

Step 5

Route Signals to Your Sales Tools

Connect the processed data to your downstream systems. Common destinations include a CRM node (Salesforce, HubSpot) to create or update contact records, a Slack node to alert the assigned sales rep, and an email node to trigger a personalised outreach sequence.

Step 6

Monitor and Refine Signal Quality

After running for a week or two, review which signals your sales team is actually acting on. Tighten your LoneScale filters if the volume is too high or the relevance is low. Adjust your n8n workflow logic to prioritise higher-value signals, like former champions or enterprise accounts, over noise.
