How it works

Step 1

Create a Xata account and database

Sign up at xata.io and create a new database. Define your table schema with the columns you need — text fields, numbers, and optionally a vector column if you plan to use semantic search in your workflows.

Step 2

Set up Xata credentials in n8n

Generate an API key from the Xata dashboard and create a new Xata credential in n8n. Enter your API key and workspace URL so n8n can authenticate with your Xata database.
