A process audit is how most engagements begin: a paid, one-day onsite study of how your business really delivers its work, with a fixed fee agreed before you book. It stands on its own. You get value from it whether or not you proceed to a build.
What we do
We spend a working day in your business, alongside the people who do the work, and follow real jobs from first enquiry to money in the bank. We map the current state step by step, find and cost the bottlenecks (the manual handoffs, the double entry, the steps that repeat hundreds of times a month), then design the future state with you.
What you get
A build-ready report, delivered seven to ten days after the onsite day. It covers:
- Your current state, mapped end to end, and where the time actually goes
- The bottlenecks quantified in hours and dollars
- The recommended build, laid out in phases with the technology named
- The best off-the-shelf alternatives, honestly assessed, including where they beat a custom build
- A clear path forward, whichever direction you choose
You own the report. You can act on it with us, hand it to another developer, or use it to sharpen your own systems. If it recommends a build, that work is scoped and quoted separately as its own decision.
Why we work this way
Automation pays for itself only when it's aimed at the right processes. Because the audit is paid work, the report has to be worth the fee on its own rather than serve as a sales pitch for the next project. We present all the facts, including the alternatives, and the decision stays with you.
