A client portal without another password

Your clients get a secure link, not a login to manage. They see where their job is up to, download their documents, and can pay online to unlock the finished deliverable. Fewer status-update phone calls for your team, faster payment for you, and no password resets for anyone.

The problem

Where is my job up to?

Every service business answers that question dozens of times a week, by phone and email, one client at a time. The information exists in your systems. The client just cannot see it.

A portal fixes that without creating a new problem, because nobody wants another account. We use signed, expiring links, the client clicks from their email and lands on their job. Progress, documents and payment, scoped to exactly what you choose to show, with the link revocable any time.

One client uses this for paid deliverables. The report goes out as a preview with the detail blurred, the client pays online, and the full document unlocks on the spot. The invoice chasing stopped, and the settlement-day panic calls fell away.

This is a module of our custom ERP platform, not a standalone product. Start with just this module and it already sits on the full platform, accounts, security, admin and API included, so the rest of the system can arrive stage by stage, whenever you are ready.

What you get

Self-service that gets used

Live progress, no phone call

Clients see the stage their job is at in plain language you control. The where-is-it-up-to calls quietly stop.

Secure links, not logins

Signed links that expire on your schedule and revoke instantly. No accounts to create, no passwords to reset, no forgotten-login support queue.

Pay to unlock

Deliverables can sit behind payment, preview visible, detail blurred, card payment with a compliant GST invoice, document unlocked the moment it clears.

Documents in one place

Reports, certificates and files for that job only, downloadable whenever the client needs them again, years later included.

Requests that land on the job

If a client uploads a file or asks a question through the portal, it attaches to the job and notifies the right person, not a shared inbox.

Suppliers too, safely

The same pattern shares job files with external contractors, isolated copies, individual links, auto-revoked when superseded.

AI native

Run it from Claude or ChatGPT

Every module ships on a platform with a built-in MCP server, which means AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT can securely read and operate your system with the same permissions as a staff member. Ask where a job is up to, get a client summary before a call, or have tomorrow's follow-ups drafted, from the chat window you already use.

FAQs

Client portal questions, answered

Done properly, yes. Links are cryptographically signed, scoped to one client's job, time-limited and revocable, and every access is logged. It is the same pattern banks use for statement links, and it removes the weakest point of most portals, which is human passwords.
